Paolo Lorusso
Paolo Lorusso is a postdoctoral researcher at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS in Pavia. He obtained a PhD in Comparative Language, Literature and Culture, at the University of Florence 2018 (dissertation on the patterns of agreement in the natural languages). He collaborated with the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Languages (CRIL) of the University of Salento, Lecce, for neurolinguistic projects. He obtained his first PhD in Cognitive Science and Language at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2014 (dissertation on the acquisition of argument structure). Degree on Communication at the University of Siena (dissertation on the acquisition of unaccusative verbs). MA in linguistics in the same university. His research areas are language acquisition, psycholinguistics, morphosyntax, theoretical syntax, processing, syntax-semantics interface, comparative syntax and dialectal microvariation.
